Probs makes no sense to anybody  :-[

Mustermark

That's too funny Findus.  I do remember the ads.  I used to love those but my mum wouldn't buy them very often.

So, mine is very geeky :-[ and not funny at all.  When I was 10 or 12, around the time I was trainspotting, I was also interested in physics :-\ and they had not long before discovered Quarks (that make up sub-atomic particles). :o  The word Quark was coined by physicist Murray Gell-Mann from a James Joyce poem called Finnegan's Wake.  The line reads "Three quarks for Muster Mark" and since my name is Mark, I chose that a while ago for a website and have also used it on the forums.

Told you it was geeky.

I'm a personality prototype... you can tell, can't you.

findus

some good reasons, its amazing how life and the experience you have along the way can stick in your mind so much you name your self after the events.

i used to have another nick name when i was with the scouts it was biffa, after the bin company as i was the only one who would eat all the food that was cooked i hated to waste things and still do  :D

ToothFairy

Why ToothFairy? Because Father Christmas and the Easter Bunny are only seasonal, and God would have been a bit presumptuous . . .

jonclox

For my sins  I was a clockmaker repairer for about 38 years so the name came from my work. The misspellin of 'jon' and 'clox' was done to make it into an easy email address.
For several years I also used the name 'escapement' online but that often required explaining to people

Tank

My name was first given to me at scouts at the age of 11, where when playing the game British Bulldog I used to flatten everyone, even the 16 year olds. ;D  This continued at school in the rugby team, and finally came to light in my motorcycle club.  So, all rather violent reasons!   :smiley-laughing:

OwL

Mine is simple, my mates say I look like an Owl, just like the one in my avatar and I can even swivel my head 360 degrees!!!(he heeee). I am also a very wise man(LoL). 729 just seems to be my lucky number, after all it's the most money i've won on a horse. Put the two together: Owl729
