Hi all,

So as many of you are aware I worked for Freightliner at Crewe VMF after leaving the army.

Sadly a lad I used to work with Joe Sasi passed away aged 48 after a battle with cancer earlier this year, he was not only a great fitter and great mate but he was also a very proud husband and father.

A team of us are doing Snowdonia on Saturday morning, taking a "light" blower motor off a class 90 with us for company in his memory, but we are also raising funds for his wife Claire and daughters Nichole and Kim who are not only coming to terms with the sudden passing of their husband and father but are now suffering financial hardship.

If any of you good folk are able to help Joe's family at this most cruel of times I know Joe's family will be forever grateful, the link to donate is:

Many thanks

Gareth
Mechanical issues can be solved with a hammer and electrical problems can be solved with a screw driver. Beyond that it's verbal abuse which makes trains work!!
