Just a throw out to the masses, does anyone have any idea IF these are available in kit, 3d print or RTR in N gauge at all????

I think I've seen 'em on Shapeways as platelayers-trolleys or plate-trolleys, with rigid axles though. I'd be tempted to go scratch build - a doddle for you Craig.

@RailGooner 😂 cheers Mark, I'll have a look on there and see what I do  :thankyousign:

@RailGooner well Mark you suggested it would be a doddle for me to scratchbuild one so I best thought I should have a go!!

Something woke me up at 2am so I thought I'd have a look about and see what these trolleys dimensions are,

2.5m width with lengths of 4m/5m/6m, load capacity of anywhere between 12000kg to 20000kg and plenty of add ons in the way of stakes, toolboxes and guard rails for personnel carriage.

Evidently these werent hard at all to knock up, they arent a detailed replica but a representation of which with a couple of other bits will hopefully look ok.......

I might of overdone the rust  :hmmm: maybe a bit more yellow needs to be visible

RailGooner

Yeah!  :claphappy: I knew these wouldn't be any trouble for you Craig. As you point out yourself, perhaps less rust particularly on the sides/ends.
