Just stuffing around on the TV after dinner last night, about  to turn it off, when an ad came up for what was next (network channel). I thought, hey this looks alright!

Anyway, turns out that the movie was called Unstoppable, with Denzel Washington and that young bloke who plays Captain Kirk in the latest Star Trek movies.

Basically a runaway train through Pennsylvania, and basically ridiculous.

However, it was well filmed and edited, and an enjoyable watch, even though without Denzel Washington, you'd be excused for forgetting it.

Suspend belief, and I found it very watchable. I particularly like the Pennsylvania landscape which reminded me of my one and only visit there.

Anyone seen it?

I watched it a few years back. While improbable it's based on a real life incident, if a bit blown up for Hollywood purposes.

Yup, saw it a few years back.

I particularly liked the scene where the train takes the sharp curve on 'two-wheels' as it were.

Good yarn, an enjoyable watch.

Sometimes you bite the dog...

...sometimes the dog bites you!

I can explain it to you...

...but I can't understand it for you.

Saw it back in the days when Blockbuster was still a thing*. There are quite a few BTS clips on YouTube that are a good watch.

* I know a few franchised stores still exist, but it's not the international chain it once was.

I didn't think those shops existed anywhere, anymore!

A much better film is " Runaway train" - a real nail-biter!

I thought there was still a handful, but turns out there's just one store in Bend, Oregon. They should've bought Netflix when they had the chance!
