Dapol 9F repair

Following my post in the Unhappy thread, about the problems with the 9F that I bought at TINGS, I took another look and there are just too many problems to bother sorting it, so it is going back (wheelset in wrong order, short on DCC, motor cradle not fixed down, pony truck adapted with metal and possibly shorting). However, it prompted me to look again at the very nice, weathered, 9F I already had (it would have been nice to have two) and the lock-ups seem not to have been due to the valve gear, but a loose clip holding the worm in place. A touch of glue (enough to hold the clip down, but little enough to allow future removal) and all is well - now I just have to find where I left the tender top!
