Modelling Faded Paintwork

Hi All

I have a Royal Mail GUV which I would like to make one of the doors to look like it has come from a stored/withdrawn vehicle, is there paint or dry brushing (how do you do that), to make the door look faded?

I simply use a bit of chalk and a cotton bud with rust coloured tamiya in recesses, grooves. Others will have their own methods

Varnish with a bit of white paint mixed in (or just white paint and lots of thinners).
