Mine's arrived!! Looks great on my layout, goes well with my other self-made special wagons. I noticed a white number on the frame underside; anyone know what this number is?

Yes, I asked if a number could be put underneath each one.....nothing official, I just thought it might be fun in 10 years time to know what number is where.  :)

Just had a look. May be number 002 or 502 but neatly done @Tank

I imagine that's 002.  There won't be a 502!  :)

Thanks chris and trev. Must have been the small handwriting and the ink but i like the personalised way of keeping tabs . The wagon lettering itself is a work of art.

Thanks for the info, mine looks like it is 012. It would be interesting to set up a record by wagon number to show where the wagons have ended up around the world.
On close inspection with my binocular head magnifier on the decoration is impressive, so crisp and clear.

Finally, after waiting over 55 years I am building a permanent layout in a purpose built shed!

Not so long ago you didn't think you'd shift 50!

Update:

57 have so far been sent out, which I think is very impressive.

I'll push for any more sales in a couple of weeks, so that Mark catch up.
