Evening Guys and Gals

I had a message from oldrailbug (Dave) today, he has requested to stand down from his position as a moderator on  :NGF: .  Dave and his family have had a tough year and quite rightly his family comes before the many hours needed to be put in to keep the forum ticking over, so with much regret it has been decided to accept his decision and whilst it is our loss it will be his families' gain.

I hope you will join me in wishing Dave and his family well in the future and thank him for all his hard work during his time with us.  Dave will remain "on the books" as a regular member, so you don't have to be nice to him any more  ;D.

Thanks for everything Dave, all the best mate

Dave, sorry to hear you are stepping down as a (very good and respected) moderator mate. However, as Lawrence says, family comes first. I hope that you do manage to stay an active member though. Thanks for all the hard work you, like all of the mods, have put in to this great site

Thank you all, I do have a lot going on in my life at the moment and to make matters worse we got a phone call from our Daughter this morning, she has just found out that she has a tumor on her brain, is it any wonder I am all over the place and acting unstable at the moment.

Hopefully if things improve I will return to the forum but at the moment I will give it a miss as it wouldn't take much for me to go off half cocked and that is the last thing I would like to happen.
Keep on Smiling
Dave.

As a relatively new member of 12 months or so, I have enjoyed our recent chats on this forum. I am very saddened to hear your latest news. All the best, mate. I may not have been on here long but know your knowledge and contributions will be sorely missed by all.
Hope its all good news in the future. Cheers, George
