It's easy ....... Go to your pub  :beers:  :D  :beers:

Some of you may know I have some videos on YouTube. There are videos of "Windmill Hill" including one showing the full building process, as well as a few videos of steam trains visiting Weymouth.

The channel name is Phoenix, or you can find the videos just by searching "Windmill Hill model railway"

After a visit to one of my local hostelries, a micro-pub that has real ales, local ciders, and mead from Lyme Regis, which goes down very smoothly (but being 12% tends to give you "untidy feet"  :-[) I got chatting to a guy who turned  out to be  railway modeler.

As a result my YouTube subscribers doubled  :claphappy:

However this is not that impressive as I used to have just one subscriber (my mate's son) and now I have two  :-[ :D :-[

All best wishes

Kevin

Hi Guys,

Oooops I feel really embarrassed now  :-[ :D :-[

I wasn't touting, but found it funny that other people have hundreds of thousands of sub, I have one, which was doubled after a visit to my pub  :D

Many thanks though John and Alec. I will enjoy looking through your videos this evening.

:thankyousign:

All best wishes

Make it 5.
Your local pub sounds good fun. I don't like mead though I'm afraid. It's one of the few alcoholic drinks that I'm not partial too (along with Pernod and Ouzo)  :D
Cheers

I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Hi John,

I just subscribed to you as soon as I saw your post  :D and will enjoy refreshing my memory of Longcroft this evening, as I do like your layout

Thanks Kevin. Once the campsite has advanced more and the pylons/cables are complete I will upload some more.

What is the name of your local pub/micro-pub? I love visiting those places when we're allowed to and it feels safe  :beers:

Ps, I'm guessing you're number 18 now (it's gone up by 1 today) although it only allows me to see those who choose to make their subscription public, thanks again.

Cheers Martin,

Many thanks for that

I agree with you about Pernod and Ouzo  :sick2:

The mead I have only just discovered though, and as a honey lover, find it a very lovely drink  :D :D :D

I know what you mean, I only have 12 but do mix it with my model railway and a few videos I take (when I used to) go out and about.  Still I will take a look at the model railways linked here because you get great ideas from seeing what others have done.  Take care fellow you tubers.
