Hi,

What diameter of Slater's plastic rod is best to use for the drainpipes on models of domestic housing/shops?

Thanks guys.

I always do it by eye Steve. My motto, if it looks right, it is right.
If you want any thin Slaters plastic rod, I can put some in the post.i've got loads of it up here.
One day, I'll even be able to pop down for coffee somewhere.

Cheers

Martin
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Domestic standard downpipe sizes are 68mm and 110mm.
In N scale that equates to a little under 0.5mm and 0.75mm.

Thanks guys for your replies.

Martin, thanks for that offer, I'll send you a message.

Not least for resilience, but also to make putting 45' kinks in easier, I decided that my downpipes would be almost exactly paperclip diameter ... ;)
