Just a thought...

Class 17 has come from nowhere to running on layouts

Prototype HST arriving with those who ordered

Hunslets finished and soon on their way

Caroline over the line and going ahead

Can't remember a better few days for N for a long time, or a worse few for our collective bank balances

Don't forget the Stanier 8F steam loco in the shops "soon"  :)

Suffolk Rob

Did think of the 8F as something steam seemed to be the only thing missing but I'm not sure I fully understand the Bachmann definition of soon!

It's great to see the amount of 'frothing' on the forum, probably not seen since the announcement of the Pendolino from RevolutioN/Rapido. Certainly 2020 has seem me placing record numbers of pre orders so, as a transition era modeller, things are looking up. The class 17 was sprung on us a bit. The 8F should be in my mitts soon (dependent on who you hear from), we have the class 56xx on the go, the class 128 (when the order book opens following CAD approval) and more wagons to come e.g. Cemflos and class A tanks.
The only cloud on the horizon for me (and I hate to sound like a scratched record) is announcement after announcement involving Dapol (e.g. 2 x Westerns in limited livery) when we can't get info on long ago announced models like the Bulleid light pacific and the Gaugemaster class 73

And the arrival of the Thompson coaches.........

Possibly the most concentrated number of new products in such a short time.

...........and the promise of the class 319 pictured recently in the Farish catalogue! Oh wait, it was the 2016/17 edition  :(

Alec.
You can't beat a nice drop of Southern.

And not forgetting the years overdue MK2f coaches on the way 😁

Well,  the revised Fairburn - LMS livery, weathered - hasn't appeared yet and that was supposed to be in the 2019 releases.

I've not ordered anything in a couple of months! This is verging on barren!

All I can say is about time!

The wait has been long.

All I can say is the wait wasn't long for what started as a positive thread to be turned to the negative...  ::)

@PLD
I am stating a basic truth. I am as happy as the next person that N gauge is finally getting items through.

You are making this negative and personal, I hope you will stop this.

Apologies if you took that personally - certainly not aimed as you individually - presumably you didn't read the thread from post #3 onwards  ;)

lil chris

I have ordered a 8f myself from my local shop, I could have ordered from one of the big boys but my local shop was so good during the pandemic with deliveries etc I gave him my buisness. Last week when I told him it was my birthday on Sat, he did say there was not much chance of getting it for your birthday. Its no big deal for me, has long as I get it, so I live in hope.
