with this heat at the moment, is anyone encountering buckled track on their layouts, apart from Network Rail ?

It's difficult to keep my mancave (conservatory) cool in the heat but no issues with track yet over 10 years (Peco code 55)

I never get any problems with the scenic part of the layout which is fully ballasted code 55.

Occasionally at an exhibition the fiddleyard trackwork gets slightly wavy if the venue is really hot, but that's only pinned down and code 80 flexi is not as stiff as code 55.

No problems at the moment as the whole thing is  stored away.  Even if it were set up, this hot weather is too draining on the mind and body to want to do anything anyway.   I have a test oval of Unitrack up on a table but I don't touch it until 8 or 9pm

The current layout is on 9mm mdf and is glued and ballasted. Being built in South Africa and housed in the highveld it had no problems as temperature and humidity kept it stable. Now, in southern Russia, there is very high temperatures and very high humidity so again it is stable. If we have a harsh winter this year and low temperatures outside but high humidity then problems are probable. So far the Peco code 80 is fine. I'll be using it for the next layout possibly with mdf again.
