Having seen that Peco are introducing new 12 foot wagon kits, I was wondering if anyone knew any thing about them. They look as if Peco have designed a new chassis to fit the bodies they bought from Parkside but I wondered if they were also used on some NGS kit and if so whether they were a radical departure from the old ones and if the NGS or any one else had new wagons planned for this chassis.

Any info would be appreciated.

From what I can remember (it's been a while since I built any) the NGS kits used the Parkside 12ft chassis kit. Whilst it looked good I could never get mine to run properly no matter what I tried. Hopefully, Peco will do their own take on the chassis rather than use the original Parkwood one.

The only one I can find on their site is the old Parkside one?

It's the old Parkside chassis with a new number......

Thanks.

I had hoped that Peco might be giving the Parkside N Gauge range a bit of a push as they have severely neglected the N gauge ones since their purchase.

It would be nice if they could revamp the Parkside chassis while they are updating their existing chassis, and maybe even introduce new kits into the range, but I think both are unlikely due to the relatively small market?
