So my distant (third cousin removed by marriage etc etc) relative whom we visited in Canada at the end of our honeymoon has sent me this link.

He is building a rather wonderful HO scale layout in his basement (another story), but his start came from building aircraft kits. He is ex RCAF (flew F104s in Germany....yeah serious aircraft) and knows what his is doing when it comes to building a good plastic aircraft kit.
