Brilliant ideas here folks, so much creativity and ingenuity, definitely many tips I will adopt!

Another one is large 'Meridian' peanut butter tubs. These are white and can easily be removed of labelling - I have every one of scatter materials in these.

And maybe obvious, but didn't do this for a long time - all my electical stuff is now in a compartmentalised Stanley Fatmax case. Ideal for all those tiny bits and bobs and various wires/components, solder etc.
