Announced for OO brigade first, but with note at the bottom....

N gauge versions will follow in due course.

Didn't know whether to  :claphappy: or   :'( as my ' Bank of Revolution' credit card would have self destructed.

Looking forward to the log wagons.

Just tried getting on the Revolution web site, and all I get is either a blank page or a page showing the message "500 Internal Server Error."

@red_death, @Ben A, may want to look into this.

cheers

I assume you mean the IWA timber carriers...? Agreed, very exciting, and yes the website appears to be down presently.

These run in mixed rakes with the KSA offered by the NGS, so a good opportunity to mix up rakes a bit. I really must build my kits!  :-[

I'd buy some, certainly. The popularity of the KSA as a kit suggests there's a market for bogie timber wagons. They're certainly quite a visually appealing model IMO.

With a bit of luck we'll find out in due course once they do shrink the OO gauge model.

Press release here FWIW, once the error is resolved.

Hello all,

EDIT:  The thread title has been amended to be a little clearer.

For us the Sfins wagons are a natural progression - long llived and widely used, plus the conversions to timber carriers in 2012 added an additional layer of interest, especially since, as has been pointed out, they run alongside the NGS kit.

Rebuilt as timber carrier, this photo taken in Febraury this year:

Feedback we have had from lots of fellow N gauge enthusiasts is that given there are still HOAs, IPAs, Mk5s and (soon) flowing silk Pendolinos on offer they'd like us to pace our projects.

So while yes, these will be coming in N, we are going to hold fire for a few weeks.  But the imminent 00 CADs will give a pretty good idea of what to expect.

cheers

Ben A.

Thank you for the update. Appreciate

Despite my joking to the contrary I think waiting a bit is extremely wise, balances due on KFAs and 92s soon as well too!

Given that I can't get my NGS timber carrier kits to run properly, I'll be in for some of these (but not just yet please).

Hopefully a typo Ben and it's meant to read "few months". :D

Would be interested in some of the Cargowaggon and the timber conversions to go with my unfinished Society kits

We're trying to spread things out so that people aren't hit with everything at once, so you will increasingly see that there are announcements in OO that we haven't done in N yet (and vice versa).  Where feasible and sensible we'll look to do all the OO items in N in due course.

Cheers Mike

probably a very sensible suggestion mike !
