Not by Ausy standards, but never the less, I saw 26C on my outside thermometer in the back garden, for a good four hours too, and that was in the shade.  Looks like we might get another 3 days of it too, if the weather man is to be believed.  Suits me.
Cheers, Trev.

Not quite so hot here but very pleasant indeed.
Probably 19C was our tops but always a slight, cool breeze.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

With the sun on it mine showed 32 C but I reckon it was nearer 22 C

Here we go again.
Apparently Britain had a heatwave last year - well for information purposes only, it forgot to show up in Teesside. Likewise, today, you might have had temperatures in the 20s but here on the north east coast we managed a mere 10.5!

is that the north - south divide politicians are always on about  :confused1:

Lankyman

More like an East/West divide caused by the Pennines. Always been a problem for the railway them hills.

We had the bifold doors open in two rooms (kitchen/diner and lounge) and had "chillout room" music blaring out across the neighbourhood from our new audio/visual console as we sat drinking white Rioja to Moloko and other cool vibes. It was probably 20C and a hot day for a Good Friday.
Maybe the beta blockers were doing their job but I was really chilled
The birdcage stock was christened on the layout and all was well with the world. Could have been in Aus apart form the heat, that is :)

I barely went outside. Easter is my favourite 4 days to get house projects cracked off. Long uninterrupted house work days. This year I'm installimg central heating, powered by a wood burner! No gas out by me.

Not fun,  as I reckon the loft was easily hitting 35degrees. Glad my layout isnt in there. Guess a 0430 start tomorrow,  before it gets hot, would be a good idea.

Sounds like a book, a cuppa, a bickie, and chair under a tree time.
Have had some excellent weather here for the past week.  Love this time of year.  Also had some showers as a bonus.
To be called pompous and arrogant - hell of a come down.
I tried so hard to be snobbish and haughty.

Yeah, Easter always has the best weather in Eastern Australia. Currently having an Easter Saturday lunch with all the Bealettes (no mean feat given their wide geographical locations) in the outdoor area of a local pub up the mountainside.  :beers:
