I went through my pictures file looking for photo's I had previously uploaded. The first one I tried, which I was not certain I had previously uploaded, give me the error message, but the second one, (the one above), worked okay. Life is fun!
@mk1gtstu

I've just tried 3 different photos I've uploaded before & it's still having none of it. I'll give up for now I think  :(

Cheers, Stu

3 of the photo's are 4.22MB, 4.34MB and 3.17MB in size. I have not checked yet, but do you know the file size limit offhand?

Could you email me the photo's, just so I can eliminate them from being the problem?   :ngfemailsign:

Just saw that Dannyboy put the size of his photo's here, and Only Me also messaged me at the same time to say that we have a 2mb limit on photo's.

The site cuts them down so pulling them back they are smaller.

I think we just have to be patient until Tank changes the filters.
Ah ok cheers, Yes I'm sure Tank will be able to sort it  :thumbsup:

Files of 2Mb are completely unecessary for forum use, the pic below is 350.82 Kb, perfectly viewable and can be viewed a bit larger by clicking on he image.  Images from cameras with mega pixel sensors  produce massive files, great for 20x16 prints to hang on the wall but for forum use even 500Kb is overdoing it, it takes up far more space on Tank's SSD too.

Not only taking up storage space but also taking longer to load, and not too friendly for those using mobile devices with limits on the amount they can download.

This link is to the Amateur Photographer forum detailing size limits  for uploading images. Any image editing software has the capability of setting image sizes, (sometimes known as optimising for the internet)
