Interesting to see it running tender first along this section. Presumably running at this time a night, slow speeds are fine. It would have needed to run round as it arrived at Southall from the east, and departed to the Bluebell in the same direction as far as Acton Wells Jc.

Not easy to identify, but yesterday's diagrams are below (even more difficult as it is marked up as diesel!):

It helps if you have the identity of main centres - such as Carnforth and Southall - then do some investigations from that.

Would love to be in Riddlesdown station but I'll pass on the 'Flying scotsman. The railway equivalent of the Kardashians. I'm feeling sad now as it doesn't look like I'll get back to the bluebell this year and East Grinstead)
