Hi  All,

This year  Quality  Street  celebrates   75  years  in business probably  our best known  sweet selection  tin  ......

I used to buy 6-8 tins every Christmas for staff and relatives but gave up when the tins started to 'shrink' and the price rise.
Now they just seem to be a rippoff every year

Stopped buying them years ago as part of the Nestlé boycott. Must admit from the odd one I've had since from other people I've not actually missed them.

Creme egg on the other hand I can unfortunately eat until I am sick

Now I know what to do with those unwanted ones I occasionally get given, I can't stand them- half a one will make me feel ill.

I never buy Quality Street for that exact reason - too many damn toffees!  :smiley-laughing:

Don't usually go for Cadbury's stuff either, certainly not Roses, but like EP above I can eat Creme Eggs in embarrassingly huge amounts  :P

Hah, thought the modern tin was rubbish. Why can't these damn foreigners leave our sweets alone, eh? Should stick to milk shakes, damn them. Some of my favourites were:
Purple One (the original 'Purple One' with Brazil nut, replaced with hazelnut version)
Chocolate Strawberry Cream (now replaced with Strawberry Delight)
Chocolate Toffee Cup (now replaced with Caramel Swirl)
Hazelnut Cracknell (red wrapper)
Malt toffee

And bring back the soldier...
and Mackintosh's Caramac...
and Kit-Kats should have 'Rowntree' moulded in on them.. and wrapped in silver foil (all sizes!)
