For those who can get Radio Cornwall and are interested.
Bank Holiday Monday (13.00-14.00) they are broadcasting a programme about the Beeching era cuts and the drastic effect that they had on Cornish lines.
The advertising clip I heard today sounded interesting with some interesting memories of life on the former LSWR lines in N Cornwall.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

I enjoyed the programme with some fascinating recollections.
I even learned why Ivatt 2-6-2 tanks were called Mickey Mouse Tanks!
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.
