On Wednesday, the wee wifey and I took the dogs for a lovely walk along the Wey and Arun Canal, making the most of the opportunity before I had a minor foot operation (went very well, thank you for asking...) We had a very nice meal at the canal-side pub but one thing did puzzle me. As I was settling up the bill, coming faintly over the PA were the unmistakeable strains of Bing Crosby singing I'm dreaming of a White Christmas...  :confused2:

Is it me?

Size matters - especially if you don't have a lot of space - and N gauge is the answer!

Part of English history no longer 'celebrated' by the yoof of today.
"Penny for the guy?" isn't it.
Small boys - jumpers for goalposts. Roll the ball through the dog :poop: and get your mate to head it, isn't it. Mmm.

Over here a lot of clubs and restaurants have a Christmas in July night cos it's winter and therefore more akin to northern hemisphere weather. Bit silly, I reckon.
Vision over visibility. Bono, U2.

When I was little you used to be able to find Easter Eggs in the garden on Easter Sunday, but in recent years I've never found any. I guess global warming causes them to melt early.
