Watch the England men's team attempt to play football, I mean.
It's not as if I watch footie anyway apart from the World Cup so why I bothered tonight I haven't the foggiest. ::)

I'm a big football fan but that was disgraceful.
Overpaid, unfit, clueless, no passion, terrified, no brainpower, no idea and a manager that has no clue, no plan and no passion.
Come on Wales.
I'm sure I'll get used to cream first soon.

Totally agree, that was the WORST performance I have ever had the misfortune of sitting through, and I am a Plymouth Argyle fan!!

They were clueless, understatement of the night was when the commentator said' just could not get the touch'!!

Sack them all!!!!

I have to say I am definitely not a football fan. Especially when they cancel my favourite TV progs to show the matches. Why can't they show football on other channels which generally show rubbish instead of ruining my regular viewing.
Now... Just remind me.. Football is the game where they have two stumps a long way apart and cricket has three stumps close together - or is it the other way round??
:hmmm: :)

I think England showed the way for Spain tonight. Lost 1-0 to Italy. Give me a spherical ball anytime. :)
You know you're getting older when your mind makes commitments your body can't meet.

You are absolutely correct, but unfortunately they are not far enough apart for our lads !
Nice one Steve. Where is Iceland anyway?

Now. That was funny.. But does your Iceland have enough staff to make a football team?

Maybe not, but they'd still probably do better ;)

Apparently Joe Hart went to Iceland ..... but he didn't save anything. Wants a rematch with Lidl or Co-op ......

I phone my wife from work just after 10 and asked her how the game had gone. She told me the score and said that, even though she was on her own, (apart from the cats and dogs), she was embarrassed watching the match, so I am guessing England did not play very well  ???. Or were England 'frozen' out by Iceland?
David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.

Not exactly "Three Cod Wars and One European Cup" then?

I just wish I had not watched it a waste of time again, just has I was beginning to think Hodgson had some idea.

I'm still English, but I must admit I watched from my distant vantage point with a weird degree of smugness.

Embarrassing.
