Morning ladies and gents.....and Newportnobby.

I need help from you!  I would like to extend the logo at the top of the picture with a close up of 3 or 4 loco's....  e.g. Steam, Diesel, Electric, possibly EMU, all in N Gauge.   :camera:   A staggered photo of the sides of them all, and the front ends....at ground level.  Does that make sense? :smiley-laughing:

A little like the picture below, but lower down, and more to the right.  I would do it, but I don't have any steam loco's.

Does your current camera have macro and/or supermacro?

I can take close up photos of bogies (full frame) but you need supermacro for this

I also don't have any steam loco, the nearest "range" combination I can get :
Class 91 (electric loco)
Class 37 / 47 / 56 / 60 / 66 (diesel-electric loco)
Class 158 / 170 (DMU)
Mark 3B or 4 DVT
Class 43 (HST power car)

I am able to use a dedicated macro lens for my DSLR camera, but I really wanted someone to cover the main time periods (obviously it's hard for people to cover the early days of steam)!

Please feel free to do a photo the best you can.  I might make a few title pictures and have them on rotate if they're clear enough.

Cheers!

Chris

Mine are all modern diesels - don't think that would make for a very interesting photo! I could do something with my Western, L/L Class 37, Triple Grey 60 and one of my 66s so at least there's a bit of colour in it.

Tank

OK, that would be great Chris!  I thought you had a steam loco? ???  I must have been thinking of someone else!  If you could do it with a white background to, that would be ace, as I want to cut out the background out of it.

I had a steamer for a short while but that was sold to pay for the Western, and it didn't seem to like my pointwork much ??? I'd like to get Tornado one day though....

Tank

4x2 - the last picture is just what I want, BUT, can you have the loco's facing the other way please!!!!

A shame about the camera Oldman.

Also a shame about the steamer Chris.

I do have a couple of really old Farish panniers somewhere.  I suppose that could show progression on the hobby in terms of the manufacturers! :)

That is the what is being sought, but closer and more profiled, that way the aspect remains the same (gives a rather flat appearance)
