Is this sig still active, or not? I wrote Jeremy about 2 years ago, sent the application in, had a reply he had received it but was very busy. Never heard another word. Emailed again about 1 year ago, no answer at all, but I just saw in the Knowledge Bank section of the forum a thread he started last July.

Just wondering.

I've not heard anything more about it.  Perhaps @PGN will let us know?

Here is a link to the thread for anyone looking for it - http://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?topic=28621.msg316175#msg316175

Thank you, tank. Meant to include the link, then forgot to. It's a age thing :)

For those unaware SIG stands for Special Interest Group.
No, no, no ... ... ...

It's "SPECTRUM is Green !" (or possibly Go ...)

Jim -

Yes, still active. I got a bit behind with the admin a while back. I thought I'd got up to date with everything - but it sounds as thought I may have mislaid your form! Can you re-send it?

Hi PGN.

I'll email in in the AM, your email address the same as it was in April 2014? If so, have it from our email exchange then.

Thanks.

Jim

Jim -

Yes, still the same e-mail address.

I'll look forward to hearing from you.

Application sent, a few hours ago. Let me know either via email or here if you didn't get it.

Thanks.

No sign of it yet, Jim.

(Maybe the one a year ago didn't get through, either, which would explain why I didn't respond ... )

I'll PM you my e-mail address, just to make sure you're using the right one.

Jeremy,

That's the email address I had, that I used 2 years ago. However, I just found yesterday's msg in the Draft folder, and the attachment was messed up.

So have sent a completely new msg, and did the attachment using my saved copy. Shoes it was sent, this time, so fingers crossed.

Aha ... glad it wasn't my fault after all  ::)

Form now safely received, and you should expect to start receiving the Pre-Grouping Gazette shortly.

You are clearly a very patient man, waiting so long to enquire why you had received no response to an e-mail which you had not sent ... I could do with a bit of that sort of patience in some of my modeling projects

Received mine today and was extremely impressed. I wanted to thank you but thought inundating you with more mail was the wrong way to go about it. The how-tos are really wonderful guides and the pre-grouping survery is an amazing resource that I look very forward to seeing develop over time. Thank you for the work you put into this :) It is most appreciated!

(And I promise I will be sending that promised intro in shortly! I haven't forgotten and, though a little daunted by the quality of the copy, will do my best to send in something that I hope will be a little interesting. I've also told Grahame I will be doing a little article for the NGS about Terriers, which may ultimately prove at least a little interesting to the pregrouping modeler).

Thanks again and looking very forward to the next installment! (And to the reformatted versions of the earlier issues, as there is obviously a lot of good info to catch up on!).

Philip -

Before you sit down to write about the Terriers, let me send you one of the back-numbers of the old newsletter (which has yet to be converted to the same format as the Gazette) which had a complete table of Terriers. It may be that much of the work has already been done ...

Can you send me an e-mail with a title line like "Terriers", to remind me ... and I'll dig out the piece and attach it to a reply.

I think the projects might be sufficiently different for the article to still be worthwhile, but I'd love a back copy of the newsletter regardless. I sent you an email just now with a description of the article's proposed contents and I would be very grateful for any feedback you have about whether it would be of interest.

Thanks again,
Philip

Hi Jim

Let me know if you haven't already received your copy of the Era 1&2 Gazette Issue 1.

Best wishes
Peter
