David.
I used to be indecisive - now I'm not - I don't think.
If a friend seems distant, catch up with them.

In my case it is HWTHMBO    ;)

It´s ok for you guys, all you have to think about is what presents you want, we have to think of all the presents to buy, buy them, wrap them etc, write and send all the Christmas cards plus organise all the food, make mince pies, sausage rolls while you all sit back and play trains.   :)

'tis done, sorry it is only camera phone video footage but I don't have anything else to shoot video with until I get my video camera repaired/replaced.

I've put the video in the Fairford Branch thread, see http://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?action=post;topic=6590.15;last_msg=347359

I don't know how to express my admiration for this layout. It's like the very peak of railway munchieness with a cherry on top.
I'm not familiar with the real world locations depicted and whether the curved platforms are to prototype or not but I like the curves to the point that I intend to have 'em on my layout once it's back underway - even if I don't need to!  I ain't scared...
Caz, thanks for the post, that was an EXCELLENT video.  Thanks for tagging me on it.  Now I'm off to watch it again.....

:heart2:  Really enjoyed it, Caz.  Great sound effects.  We'll have to save up and buy you a sound-proofing kit for that Oxford turntable.
Perhaps the proof that there is intelligent life in outer space is that they haven't contacted us.

The Oxford one is driven by a DCC controller and has to count the exits as it has 10 tracks connected so needs to know where it is.  The Fairford one on the other hand has to only do a 180 turn so is smiply controlled using a relay to start it and an embedded reed switch in the wall with a magnet on the end of the turntable to stop it, much simpler operation and much quieter.    :)
