I have tried this on one driving car, expecting the lighting (which is adjustable by the way, try changing the position of the copper link piece on the board) to highlight the lack of punters.   However I found that the curtained windows obscured any real chance of seeing seated passengers.   Perhaps in 00? - but have a bash and see what you think.
