As part of the Soar Valley MRC I've been trawling through lots of photos and videos of the GC mainline back in the late 50s and early 60s for some research on our up and coming GC based layout and I've come across a few of No.45735 and thought it would be an interesting 'project' to do which shows something different around the exhibition circuit.

Now, I'm struggling to find some spare 'Royal Scot' smoke deflectors that I can shove on a Jube that we've already got. I'm in two minds on wether to buy a Scot and convert that or find some smoke deflectors and convert the one we've already got.

What would you guys say was the easiest way to get the best results?

Also can someone point me in the right direction for some Graham Farish Royal Scot smoke deflectors (not the straight ones) if this is the easiest way.

Basically you need to fit a rebuilt Scott boiler to a Jubilee cab, footplate and running gear, then add Scott smoke deflectors and a double chimney...

I would probably be looking for one of the old whitemetal kits for the rebuilt Scott or rebuilt Jubilee and grafting the boiler from that onto your existing Farish Jubilee. IIRC the kits came with etched brass deflectors of the appropriate type.
