Take a look at this Pinterest Board!
Most are not trains but we could all learn lessons here. Don't be shy to post some of your favorite pictures from the page either.

When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I wrote 'happy'.
They told me I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life."

There, doesn't that feel better?
Lovely!

I may appear to be listening to you, but inside my head, I'm playing with my trains.

I rather like this N gauge US layout and its progress over a long time.

Mike we are in complete agreement. I too was put off by being asked to sign up but agree with Fifer that, from what little I did see, the standards of modelling look very high.
If it's not a Diesel Hydraulic then it's not a real locomotive.

Agreed; it's a shame the site owners take the approach they do  :(

Pinterest is a great resource for all sorts of craft and model making ideas, well worth joining I have to admit. The standard of the model making on the selection mentioned is superb, it is really difficult in many cases to identify if they are models or images of the real thing!! A standard I wish I could get someway towards matching but fear I never will.

best wishes
Simon
