I am looking to buy a class 66 and reading the various threads have decided the latest release dapol is the one to get, but how do I know which are the latest?

newest dapol releases have a code such as  2D-007-000 (class 66 in MSC/GBRF sorrento)

slightly older have ND201x

example is ND201d (GBRF europorte "Derby County")

and both  are in the blue / grey box

ps I won't buy one, no way is an engine named after the sheep running on my layout :)

Hi

Have you tried www.ngauge.org.uk ? This web site lists a good number of manufacturers who have produced N gauge diesels.  The web site is continually updated, however may be a little behind for current models.

The loco class you are interested in seems fully documented.

Good Luck

I will have a whole pile of updates to run in the next few weeks - more Dapol 66s have arrived and a whole pile of Farish stuff is in/due very soon....

Planning a complete revamp next year now I have a grip on CMS design...
