keeping wagon boxes?

about half my wagons are weathered

I have jb blue boxes to store them in when I move

I think the boxes for all my farish 4 wheel wagons are going out for recycling. most pga and hea wagons I have are weathered anyway.

My advice is keep the boxes, I wish I had kept my Dinky Toy boxes some 60 years ago as the boxes are 50% of the value of a boxed model. When you are talking about a mint boxed Guy Weetabix Van selling for £2500 the value of the box is £1250. All that for a 7/- (35p) toy.

If you don't need them junk them. There is only so much room in a house (or flat). Let your offspring worry about the missing boxes.

I (and a lot of other folks) would be more concerned there may be any of my offspring loose in the world :worried:

fully agree , after all we cant play with the box's , no doubt the kids wont be interested in the train stuff - because there will be toms of it about and of little value.
