Which loco?

There is a little box spanner included with the Hall, A4, A3 and 42xx to undo the crankpins and facilitate replacement of traction tyres.

I am not quite sure what to make of your response?!

If you look at the narrower end of it you will see it is indeed a box spanner designed to remove the bolts holding the valve gear in place to enable traction tryes to be replaced.
