I have been looking for a footbridge that would look the part for Collingham Bridge Station, and I was thinking all was lost, so after buying BRM June 2014 I saw the exact bridge I need, it is on page 21 of the magazine, I am wondering if it has been hand built and if it has it is superb modelling, so if anyone who gets BRM and has the June edition do you know where I can find this footbridge?

Cheers

There's a pic of the footbridge in the Disused Stations website taken about 100 years ago.

I have something similar on my layout, it was a white metal kit from PD Marsh, they do other styles.  Scroll down to B21 http://www.pdmarshmodels.com/product_list.php?gauge=%27N%27&cat2=%2720%27

Thanks for that I will have a look into both of them and see which will be best or near enough to the original bridge.

I've ended up with something similar using the Ratio one and chopping the roof off.

Oldun

This is the one I'm going to try and copy.

I have that one already and was wondering if to chop it up but it still would not be quite right as the footbridge goes over the slip to the road.

yup that's the one I modified.

So in the photo, that's actually a 3rd set of steps coming down in front of the signal box?

In theory a kit bash of 2 of those kits would work, but might work out a bit pricey. I found there were quite a few left over bits on the sprue though as it's designed to go quite wide.

Geoff

Dave thanks for the thumbs up on the other link.

Zwilnik yep all sorts going through my head how to go there and yes its a bit pricey with 2 of them footbridges.
