NGS AMMC

Hello

I'd like to remind you that it is now ONE week to the deadline for entering models.

The deadline is midnight next Saturday 24th May 2014

How to enter can be found at http://www.ngaugesociety.com/index.php?page=ammc-2

Please pass this message on to as many NGS members as possible.

There still aren't many entries  :(

Thanks
Michael

What a shame, I hope it picks up for you.  I do enjoy seeing the models in the Journal.

NGS AMMC

Can I persuade you to enter Tank?

Either in person or by post?

Best regards
Michael

I appreciate the message.     To me my models are too sentimental to risk sending in the post.  I know nothing will most likely happen, but I just don't want the risk of sending them by post and worrying!!! :D  It's a shame that in this day and age photo's are not enough to enter, but I appreciate that 'rules are rules' - and we've already had that debate on another thread.  :)

I'm glad that not everyone thinks like me though, as like I said, I really enjoy seeing members efforts in the Journal.  Especially as many members don't post their pictures online, so seeing them in the Journal is a treat for our eyes.

How you doing for layouts... mines still not quite finished

NGS AMMC

Hello Steve

No layouts entered yet :(

No time for a BBQ today, get inside and finish your layout! ;)

Best regards
Michael

You don't want to enter the layout category in case you win. Have you seen the size of the Graham Farish trophy. Not only that it weighs a bloomin' ton!

Hehe yeah its a chunky old thing. Still... give it a go anyway.

I'm tempted to enter a wagon or two. Is this Saturday the deadline for the entry forms or both forms and models getting to the NGS?

You can bring models in on the day providing you get their early enough

I'd love to enter but.... you know what happens when you have a few on the go. Not one of them will be ready on the day! :'(

I've always found the AMMC a godsend as it helps me focus on getting all those half done projects finished. It has been known for paint to still be slightly tacky the night before!
As I can't make it this year the 'to finish' will start growing.

Submitted mine, now I'm going to have to get off my backside and finish the ex Cambrian van!

Put mine in the post over the weekend including one of EP's excellent O13 milk brake kits in departmental guise.
