This is very confusing and really needs clarifying.

Taking a couple of examples, the Fairburn Tank was £99.95 and after 1st May changed on the Bachmann website to £104.95. Are Bachmann now saying it will be £119.94??

Ditto the weathered Fairburn - was £109.95, after 1st May shows on Website as £114.95 is this list now saying it will be £131,94??

Just two examples, IF (And I say "if" - I am not pointing the finger) Bachmann are now saying the new prices will actually be the higher figures shown above it feels to me somewhat dishonest to put a modest change on the website initially before slamming on a much bigger increase later (and which doesn't yet show there).

I would be curious to know what the Jinty shows on this list as price wise. That WAS £69.95, recently updated after 1/5/14 shows as £74.95 - what does this list give for that one?

As to the last to figures, I have no clear idea. Are these to do with wholesale prices and margins? I say this as the two numbers added together give the "new" RRP...

This is very disappointing news if true and the modest price increases recently showing on the website lulled me for one into a wholly false sense of security.

Just taking the Warship as an example, the 2013 price was £106.05 so they've added 20% to bring it up to £127.26.
HOWEVER - the discount being offered is a whopping 37.5% so let's take heart from that.

You therefore need to deduct 35% from the 2013 RRP to obtain the 2013 Retailers Price
Remember after 6 weeks the retailer is then free to apply any price they like

It does seem an odd strategy to increase the price, but the main issue has been the low demand on initial release and this is where the most profit is
This also suggests the cost price has risen so heavy discounts are less likely now
