My mobile is pay as you go on T mobile, been ok so far, but this morning I started receiving text
messages of news updates ( unwanted  ) for which they charge 20p a shot! :veryangry:

Managed to cancel it after 3 newsflashes came through. If I want information  on Oscar
Pistoffwithus I can turn on the telly or radio, who's going to pay for 2nd hand news flashes.

Are you sure it was t-mobile not one of their idiot service providers who typed in a number wrong or similar ?

Take it up with T-mobile and they should just remove the charges and bill it back to whoever screwed up. If they quibble it or start whining about "only do it this once" or send you a form saying they'll do it once but not again then go direct to

and make their life a misery via the regulatory body.

Thanks for reply EP , these seem to be connected to T zones, appears to be part of T Mobile
though not absolutely sure. I can take the hit, just glad I spotted it before I ran up a bill
for these "news flashes " which a 10 year old could do listening to the radio. I suppose
one should watch all events whether on mobile devices or laptops to be aware of
sharp practices.
