Now that I have swapped to N gauge, I have here in Tenerife a number of 00 gauge engines that I brought with me when I emigrated but no longer want as I have no room to build a new 00 gauge layout. I know this is the N gauge Forum, but can I ask where is the best place to advertise the items I wish to dispose of (including display shelf) bearing in mind where I now live?
The engines and case I would prefer to sell as a complete "job lot" and are as shown in the photograph below.

Hi Terry,

As your locos and display case will weigh quite a lot, it may prove to be very costly for shipping, especially International shipping.

Once you have reached 10 posts you will gain access to all of the forum including the Classifieds, where you may advertise your locos free of charge in the Non N Gauge Items section..

You could also consider eBay to list your locos.

cheers John.

Thanks for the info Scotsoft - hopefully it won't take me long to reached 10 posts, I am up to several thousand posts on the Stag Forum, but I wasn't aware of this Forum until just recently when I decided to move to N gauge. Perhaps I should post a few Jokes to get there!

You only have one more post to go and you are there

If you are going to post jokes, please make sure they are suitable for a family forum  ;)

cheers John.

John,
The biggest contentious issue on the Stag Forum which I use regularly to keep in touch with Stag owners all over the World, is the Jokes section. It seems some people (a small minority only thankfully) are humourless and take offence at any sort of joke posted, but one of SOC Forum rules encourages banter and humour suitable for all age groups, a purely "technically" based Forum is rather boring.
As a Moderator myself on another Forum I have to be careful what I say in a post and remain impartial, and have on occasions had to issue warnings to posters, but only once Ban someone for a fixed period of time.
Just seen your post after playing snooker and re-fitting some of the point motors I have been having trouble with. In hindsight I should have wired my baseboard whilst the underneath was accessible, but I have changed the layout a couple of times since 1st laying the track.
Regards
