Just came across this little jewel on You-tube

Late shift, a small N gauge model railway layout

Is the builder a member? if not, he should be!

Very good  The chemical plant is a great piece of work. Must try one myself!

Glad you liked my phosphoric acid plant.

I love this - I don't have the room to make a scenic layout (my layout is a large computer desk which has lots of semi permanent track on it) but this seems a good way for me to scratch that scenic itch! I have a Metcalfe brewery kit waiting to be built and I always though I'd have to do it as a little shelf layout - I'll reconsider that now! Could even dip into the Unitram track system for it...

Cool!  8) Is it a coincidence that you decided to join just when I linked your video?

A technical question - what radius have you used for the chemical works?

Cheers

Brilliant little micro layout shows what can be done with a very small space.  I have got some of those tankers I used to have a connection with Albright & Wilson or Albright & shiny as they were known in the trade (in my Chemical days)

Hi Jon,

And thank you all for your kind comments, I happened across the forum the other day whilst 'surfing' I didn't know it existed to be honest as I don't belong to any clubs or societies.
I saw your post mentioning an industrial micro layout and thought I'd take a look as that's my kinda thing. I was surprised and delighted to find it was mine!!
I've only uploaded my videos recently as I've had some positive feedback from visitors when I've exhibited my layouts so I thought I'd shoot some video of them.
The Forum is very interesting and being 'self taught' I recognized that it would be a great way to pick up some tips and advice.

The radius on Late Shift is around 150mm but not constant as I didn't use a former which I have on more recent layouts. I used Peco finescale track as I find that it holds its bend better than most.

Best regards

Jason ;)

Belated  :welcomesign: from me, Jason.

Glad you've decided to join us.

There's plenty of interest, help and advice here and I'm sure you'll get questions too, especially with your obvious talent for micro layouts.
