can you have too many locos?

well, after my recent purchases my loco roster is now rather...extensive...

and my dad thinks iv gone OTT and now have too many, but CAN you have too many?

i mean my loco roster is only:-

A1 North Eastern
A3 Flying Scotsman LNER

A4 Mallard

OK, now I've shouted that from the rooftops, I think you've probably got the message.  Think how much you could spend on booze and fags, and what would you have to show for the money?   :doh:

From the look of your stock list I would guess you class yourself as "Freelance"; for those of us that model a specific location or period, then probably our stock list would be a bit shorter unless we had a large layout or were modelling a busy terminus or a big MPD.

My stock list is predominantly Southern with a few LMS because I'm modelling a location where the LMS would have come in via the Somerset and Dorset to a Southern terminus.

Heritage my dear boy, heritage railway so i can tun ehatever locos takes my fancy...unfortunatly thats alot of locos where i go "ooh thats a nice enginee" lol
