Well some of us are up and modelling. Mind you, I must stop and have a break for lunch ;-) Brian [in New Zealand]

This is the time I have a quick look around the forums, check what's new on Ebay...and then suddenly find it's 3.00am!

I use to fall into that catagory but now we have a puppy it allways wants me to take him upstairs to bed at 11pm, I do not know how he knows its that time but he same every night he sits up at me and barks as if he was talking.

I have to say that my sleep patterns are all over the place, especially at my age and with a dicky hip. I used to have an ambition to be a night shift DJ a la Clint Eastwood in 'Play Misty for me' (complete with female stalker!!)
Next time it happens I'll just get the laptop out and see who's about

Im with you pilgrim. Sometimes I cannot sleep, TV is S##T, I just search e-bay for stuff i want and watch re-runs of magnum PI, knightrider and the A-Team. The good news is that if you stay up late Oldrailbug will be on line, as he lives in Australia and our night time is his daytime. Its always good to know that a good mate and somone on our planet will be up to talk.

All the best chris

I used to keep crazy hours like that (sometimes rolling through the days) and then the medical department diagnosed sleep aponea. Plus getting older it seems ruins your ability to pull all nighters. When I was a student I could do Friday afternoon to Monday am without sleep but not any more  !

Aye, those were the days. And when the pubs were shut (which was most of the time in those days)  there was home brew!

You're not alone findus. I'm just the same. Fall asleep at the wrong time, but wide awake when I should be zz'ing away. Really frustrating. I spend most of the night reading, surfing the Web (like now), or planning the new layout on Winrail. If you find a solution, please let me know.

All the best,

Steve
