Is this a Bristol thing? I have no idea what it means and even if I did you wouldn't find me doing the same  :hmmm:

Short trousers, not small trousers. Although smaller these days since I've been going to the gym twice a week including tonight

This afternoon has seen 5 or a rake of 10 Yeoman PTAs finished with etched details.

This project has been a long time in the making and represents my first ever "commission".

With a following wind (no shortage of that here today), the rest should be completed soon and delivered to their new home.

End couplings are omitted here at request of new owner to allow for use of Hunt Couplings at each end.

I am trying to keep this thread up to date for those who choose not to partake in Facebook, so here is a bit of an update.

The last two weeks (up until this afternoon) have been a bit less intense in terms of modelling time but I have now completed every example of this wagon kit in the house.

Firstly the "customer" Yeoman rake was finished:

These should be delivered tomorrow to their new home.

Then my own ARC examples

These added to my existing 10 from the dark days of lockdown give me a nice size train now. In honesty, they run fine but are a bit stiff (the new 5 being better than the originals though), so I am glad I have a powerful loco to haul them.

And if I get the link right, here is a (authentically squeaky) train now:

Attention will now move to the 442, and another commission which should be picked up tomorrow...

Well, if this post equals 2 and this post also has a value of 2 and you add them together then you get a total of   5   4. Wasn't too difficult young man  :D

No need to be disturbed about that. Other things about me yes but not that  :laugh3:

In fairness I had been looking at that first post about 2 minutes beforehand so it was still fresh in my memory. All elementary stuff Watson.

Back to the bench

Not the first aviation related model that I have decalled in my time, but the first N scale (note I don't say gauge) one.

Also the first North American model. Some forum members may be familiar with the prototype trains, but for those that are not have a Google for "737 Fuselage Train".

Got to say, the Micro-Trains decals supplied with these wagon sets are superb. And they even work as the instructions say they will....
