Waiting For Connect.Facebook.NET ???????

I notice some Topics on the forum remain stationary with "Waiting For Connect.Facebook.NET"
on the bottom task bar, are Topics being linked to a personal Facebook page or something ?, it is damn annoying waiting to see replies to threads and being stuck on the original post with no advancement to replies

I get the same quite often at home on my ancient laptop, everything else loads quickly then it sticks for up to 10 seconds with the Facebook thingy at the bottom same as above

I think thats a bit of facebook java script caught in your temp files, nothing to do with the forum...

Close Your Browser.

(Using Win XP)
Click Start ->
Control Panel ->
Java ->
Under the title of "Temporary Internet Files" Click on "Settings"

Click the "Delete Files Button"
Check all three boxes and click OK.  This could take a while if your java cache disk space is set at 1GB, recommend modifying this to 100MB after deleting the files.

I use Firefox and have the "don't track me" add on,it blocks companies and social networking sites.

No problems with Java and I never go onto Facebook I did however check my Cookies to see if I could find anything belonging to Facebook, nothing there but I think my ISP has problems as I am finding it hard to access other websites.

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago and within 24 hours everything was back to normal.

I should think that this has something to do with 'Liking' a topic which was a function on the forum.  It was a feature on the forum and it stopped working some time ago.  Although the coding is still present I didn't think it was interfering with anyone.  If I'm not told then I don't know.    I appreciate the message though, so I'll work on it being removed.

The N Gauge Forum Facebook page is worth bookmarking as it contains news about the forum - in particular if it is down for a prolonged period.
