I appreciate Ian Stoate closed their website some time ago
However, I was about to place an order for some Mark 2 underframes
I currently require between 10 and 15 such underframes
I have searched for a supplier, but nothing

Any and all advice welcome

Hi
I'll ask Ian if he has any left.

Russ
Repairs - not everything has to be sent away - you can fix most thing's yourself. Ask and help will be provided.

Waiting for the RTR version? - why not try a kit?

My layout, Bridgebury Gate now has its own website...
www.bridgeburygate.com

and the 3DR shop where you'll also find the NGF MPV, assorted cabs etc...

I know ian has said if people want enough he could look at doing another run if he can find someone reliable to do it. Howrver I know hes in discussions with a few different people with a view to selling the range on.

Easy enough to do your own MK2 non-air con underframes.
Or wait for new Farish version due this year.
Also see this article in DEMU UPDate #63;

The article suggests Ian Stoate Models as the source of the underframes......

Good grief - it's over two years old, but actually also suggests making your own.  ::)

I guess it's easy peasy if you know how......

Just a matter of cutting the equipment off, thowing some bits away and re-gluing the others back on in different (but correct) places. You can work out what goes where from the pics. Simpler than re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

Yes, assuming you have an underframe to begin with I guess..........

Ehh?

It comes with the coach and just un-clips.

So, care to advise how it is done?

Read the article and earlier posts. And for the coaches without underframes buy replacement spares and convert those.

I don't know how demand is going to change as the new chassis is due out shortly
This however is ideal for the older chassis (NSE and Regional Railways liveries)

Therefore could you find out what the minimum order level would be
I would quite happily sell these, as my expertise in N gauge modern image continues to grow

Given enough information I could CAD this sort of thing up in an evening and get them 3D printed......................

Drawings are in the Mark 2 coach book I think.

Hi

While you are doing this any chance of producing just the fan for the Mk2 E/F?
Not the best picture but one I found quite quickly

Second picture top row the fan is right of the handrail between the tracks.

Presumably you mean the single fan on the Mark 2F
The fan arrangement is the same on the Mark 2D and 2E
