Farish HST....

Hi chaps,

Is the Farish HST not worth getting? Is the Dapol one that much better? I have a chance of a Farish one but not seen the Dapol version in the flesh. Price wise I'd save a bundle.

In my view they still hold their own. They arent bad runners and although they lack detail and can be had for alot less. Also at the moment many of the liveries vehicle types arent available in the dapol range so you cant do full sets. Ive also heard of problems with couplings.

The Farish ones certainly very good, especially the china built ones. But the Dapol ones have many plus points over them such as flush glazing, directional lights and dcc ready. Over the last 12 months Ive replaced my Farish ones with Dapol ones. I now have three!!
