A new grafar blue-grey 3-car class 101 dmu. Doesn't sound that exciting, but will trigger the withdrawal of eight old Poole-built cars, so my 101 fleet will be smaller but more reliable.
Two rails good. Three better.

Do you keep your beans in the freezer?

Straight out of the freezer into the grinder, whiz whiz, into machine, wait, then - yum  :P

Not yet! Griding my own will be a whole new phase of coffee addiction making for me.
Have had a play and ground some. Coffee tastes so fresh! Yummy

How much does it cost in NZ for a passport?
In the UK it costs £85 for a renewal :veryangry:

Probably about the same actually, $150 normally but $300 if you need it urgently, or $600 if you need it on the spot...

It doesn't make it any better for both of us, but it's good to hear that both prices are similar, if you were to tell me it cost $10 NZ, I would have started a petition against the UK government for being a rip off.

Hope you get it sorted mate, then you can come over and see us all

Happy New Year :beers:

well, Santa brought me a book on the Wemyss Private Railway, an assortment of Peco wagon kits and 10 lengths of flexi track.

Also got a stearing wheel for my Xbox 360, couple of DVDs and a couple of CDs, oh and a new camera.

Quite a haul for this year.

Kettle rarely has the chance to get cold round here

As far as the fat git in the red suit is concerned I got:-

Railway Stuff (so far, got family pressies to come yet :D ):
HST Enamel Pin Badge
Classic Countdown Diesel DVD
"Beeching Legacy" Book+DVD Set

Plenty of non-railway stuff too :)

Only thing railway related was a DVD of Polish steam trains!  :D

But SWMBO isn't too keen on watching it with me (she doesn't mind trains but draws the line at watching them on TV...  :( ) so I will have to wait 'till she goes out before I can watch it.
LNER and PKP fan in the home of the GWR!

I was given a hardback book (not railway related) and yet the person knows I have a Kindle  :headbutt:
Just one Pendolino, give it to me, a beautiful train, from Italy
