apologies if i am speaking out of turn but i couldn't help but notice the gaffer (tank ) pulling up a member for bumping.on another forum i frequent (non railway) all for sale items go through the site owner who posts the threads and locks them so bumping is not an issue :thumbsup:simple system just pm your advert to the gaffer who then posts as a thread and then just pm the seller

I did consider ignoring you William  but that would just be rude 

By leaving the thread open it allows further information to be posted publicly, perhaps a question by PM may prompt the seller to provide something additional they had not previously considered and is useful where multiple items are for sale, these can be marked as such when sold therefore preventing disappointment or unnecessary messages being sent.

I believe the particular item you refer to was bumped four times in two days which is, I hope you will agree, a bit OTT
