My weather station is in 2 parts, well 2 pairs actually. I open one pair at the front of the house and one pair at the back. If there's water on the windows I forecast that it is either raining now or has done recently. If the top branches of the trees in the garden are moving then I forecast that it's breezy. If the trunk is moving then it's ruddy windy. If I see a yellow thing in the sky I add that to the previous 2 and decide whether to venture out or not. If there's no yellow shiny thing then I stay indoors. If the ground is white I stay indoors and turn on the heating. Simples!
