OT, What to do with your obsolete tax disc holder

One of the Police Forces in this country is offering a downloadable First Aid folding disc tthat can hold the vital information need if your vehicle is involved in a collision and the occupant(s) are unconscious.  Blood groups, contact details, that sort of thing.

It might be a good idea, but only if other police personnel are aware that such information exists!

Apologies in advance but imagine the scene, the police arrive at a crash and the disc states three occupants but they only find one body.  Are the other two lying on the verge somewhere or are they sitting at home in front of Eastenders?

And how would it cope with taxis?

If Big Brother gets his way we'll all have to have ID cards and said data could be held there.  But what happens when you lose yours?  Perhaps we'll all end up being micro-chipped like they do with cats and dogs!

Got my lump from the Flu injection this morning but I suppose those in Oz don't need such things (except in the Snowy Mountains, (Mighty Big River another John Williamson song)).

Any how I wear an SOS Talisman, all relevant details Blood Type, Allergies, Contact Details etc. And all emergency crews recognise it.

A bit like those "Baby/Little Princess/Scrote on board" signs. I think they should be removed if they are indeed at home watching Eastenders. A fireman (or someone else) could waste a lot of time looking for a non-existent occupant.
