The plan was a 3 bird roast with all the bits, the reality was lentil curry (has the  same effect as sprouts) and meatballs. Why the change?  several pints in the local at lunch time made me rather hungry, waiting 2-3 hours for the roast wasnt an option.

Hi Lawrence,

Sounds like a lovely pampered day. Just a quick note to say change gusts to guests as you're going to get lots of sprout jokes  :D

Cheers weave  :beers:

PS Not really my thing but I can appreciate Mark's talent.

Good spot thanks, it was early though  ;D

Some of the Asian and African images, done with a very modern twist I found exceptional, pen and ink drawings with watercolour fills.
There is a cracking monochrome image of the modern variant of Joker in there somewhere too.
I appreciate not to everyone's taste but this is a young guy so lacking in confidence it is amazing, I thought a little publicity might do him good.

His mum had made vegetable soup which we had with fresh hot rolls, this was followed by a traditional lunch of perfectly cooked turkey, roasted and mashed spuds, brussels, roasted carrots & parsnips (food of the devil however you dress them up)

I just spat my morning cup of tea all over the dog, how dare you sir  :P

I hope what you wrote was a typo :D

Parsnips, roast, or mashed with butter are the very nectar of the gods. I would eat them every day. :bounce:

I've been addicted since about the age of 5, and most of my family are addicted too.

What's the world coming to, I don't know.

The typical Thanksgiving/Christmas/Easter lunch(we do lunch instead of dinner) is country ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, bread rolls, green beans & corn, dumplings, sweet potatoes, veggie tray (for the health conscious in the family), bourbon balls (sweets), "snow balls", chinese clusters, and three kinds of fudge.

We go all out here.
