Ultimately we get what we pay for and whilst we all like a bargain it must be near impossible for the likes off the more regulated Royal Mail to compete effectively. My local yodel driver is very good but the standard of the whole operation is questionable... I am only glad that the hattons of the world robustly package their parcels with all those air bags they fill boxes up with !

Absolutely right!  I will add, however, that I have never had the same Yodel driver twice.  Apart from once, it's always some guy/gal in a private car.  And, however well the driver behaves, the ultimate condition of your delivery can be down to those people that we saw in the documentary.  Shocking stuff...
